What is a Content Management System?
A CMS allows someone who is not a skilled web developer to update the content of your site. In the past this has meant loading a piece of software onto the computer in your office. This requires you to download pages from your site to that computer, work on them, and then re-export them. This process is not always straightforward, the software can be costly and requires some learning. Also it is only loaded on one computer.
These days most Content Management Systems are web based so that you can log on and make changes from any internet connected computer. We can offer a system to our customers which is easy to use, can be used anywhere, and looks very little different to a simple Word Processor - as you can see in the screenshot above showing a typical page being maintained. We have several solutions, including Flexiweb, Joomla and the well known Wordpress platform.
